Félix Revello de Toro ( Málaga , June 10 , 1926 ) is a Spanish painter .  His first exhibition would take place in 1938 , when he was 10 years old. At 16 he receives his first professional assignment for a local brotherhood. The following year he receives a scholarship to study in Madrid for five years at the Royal Academy of San Fernando . Then he obtained another scholarship that allowed him to remain in Rome in 1951 . From 1953 his work began to be recognized. He was a professor of Fine Arts in Barcelona , at the School of the Fish Market , and is an honorary member of the Royal Academy of Fine Arts of San Telmo since 1987 . On November 27, 2010 a museum dedicated to his person called Museo Revello de Toro opens in the center of Malaga, with 117 works ceded by the painter. * The intellectual property of the images that appear in this blog correspond to their authors and to those who have assigned them. José Roosevelt José Roosevelt (1958-) 1982 The Castle of Kafka. José Roosevelt was born in Rio de Janeiro. When he was only 15 years old he decided to take up painting, being fascinated by the surrealism of Dali, and the then emerging fantasy art. He taught himself primarily through visiting museums and art galleries and read extensively about the history of painting and its techniques. Initially he began by writing and illustrating graphic novels, but from about 1977 painting became Roosevelt's main focus. Petr Gric was born in 1968 in Brno, former Czechoslovakia. His parents supported his talent in painting and drawing, which he exhibited when he was young.[4] In 1980 his parents, under the pretense described as vacation travel, emigrated through Hungary and Yugoslavia to Austria, and Gric thenceforth lived in Western Europe. They spent one year in the countryside of Reichenau an der Rax. They soon moved to Linz where Gric finished primary school and studied graphic design at the Höhere Technische Lehranstalt. In 1988 he moved to Vienna where he began to study under Arik Brauer at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna.[4][5] He finished his studies with a Master of Fine Arts degree in 1993.[1] While still in college, he participated in several exhibitions and started to sell his work successfully.[4] In 1996, Gric presented his work about the connection of painting and computer graphics at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna.[5] In 2009, he moved from Vienna to Höflein an der Hohen Wand. James Crandall has shifted his focus to traditional easel painting. He finds subject matter in everyday life, and is always looking for an intriguing play of light, or the unstaged gestures of people at work and at play. An ongoing series of paintings depicts life in his maternal grandfather's hometown of Lucca in northern Tuscany, where he regularly visits. Recent work also includes scenes from the rural backroads of California's Gold Country, where he and his wife Nancy make their home. He is a Master Signature Member of the Oil Painters of America and a Signature Member of the American Impressionist Society.
